( now, he's not a great cook. the problem with his cooking being simple: he likes spice, too much of it, and he gets distracted, so dishes that can't take a little extra time in heat don't do well for him. the modern kitchen? helps, surprisingly, but he's a man who tends to have too much going through his head, so it's more surprising he's managed this.
